Pitchoun!, which means “kiddo” in a loving way, is a family-owned French bakery and pastry shop that brings the quintessential French dining experience to the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. From artisan bread and homemade pastries to authentic soups and salads, native French owners Frédéric and Fabienne Soulies freshly prepare the full menu from scratch using their family recipes. Pitchoun! serves as a fast casual take-away bakery, as well as a warm and cozy space where guests may relax beside a fireplace with a cappuccino. Pitchoun! also does catering for corporate and personal events and offers customized cakes for any occasion. Additionally, they are now open for Happy Hour Tuesday- Saturday, from 4-7PM, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine at their beautiful bistro bar featuring a selection of 80 niche wines, as well as 15 American and European craft beers. Specialty cocktails are also offered, including Bellinis, Mimosas, Kirs and Sangria, in addition to a weekly featured cocktail. During this time, Pitchoun! will stop its daily food selection to offer a special menu to enjoy with your drink, similar to an ‘apéritif’ in France! Pitchoun!’s happy hour menu features French small bites and shareable platters of selected dry meats and salami, numerous cheeses, homemade terrines, antipasti and light healthy plates, sardines and plenty of regional tapas with wine pairing suggestions.
