Asphalt Anthropology: Essentials Safety Tactics for City Life

Asphalt Anthropology: Essentials Safety Tactics for City Life
Asphalt Anthropology self-defense is a one-of-a-kind class that decodes the human and social patterns in the urban landscape. Developed by an avid urban explorer and self-defense instructor, this course explores the dynamics of conflict and violence allowing students to manage their own safety with greater ease and less anxiety.

Overt threats like street violence and subtle threats like sexual harassment share common principles. Exploring these principles you will increase time and opportunity to respond effectively to threats from the street to the workplace.

This class will also address the problems unique to DTLA. We will review current events to understand how even unprovoked violence can be spotted and avoided when seconds count.

There are no physical techniques practiced in this class – this class is ideal for students regardless of fitness level or self-defense experience.
