Blue Jeans Go Green

Blue Jeans Go Green
Give old denim new purpose. By recycling worn denim into insulation, the Blue Jeans Go GreenTM program keeps textile waste out of landfills and helps with building efforts in communities around the country.

FIDM is collecting denim through Oct 31, when the program concludes. The community of DTLA can participate by donating any type of denim (jeans, jackets, shirts, dresses, denim scraps, seat covers, rolls of fabric, etc). We accept denim that is bedazzled or any colored denim.

Please donate your denim garments at the following FIDM locations. 919 S Grand Ave, LA 90015 • FIDM Museum Store. See the current Emmy exhibit while there. Open Tuesday - Sunday 10:00 - 5:00 • FIDM Scholarship Store. Shop while you Drop your Jeans! Corner of 9th & Grand. Open Monday-Friday 9:00 - 5:00. Saturday 10:00-4:00 • FIDM 1st floor rotunda. Look for a bin near the security desk
