On the evening of October 31st, over 1,600 Downtown LA kids and families attended our Halloween Festival at FIDM Grand Hope Park. Now in it's 9th year, this social community event gives our Downtown families an opportunity to have a safe and fun Halloween party right in their own backyard. The event is made possible by the Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID), a coalition of nearly 1,700 property owners committed to enhance the quality of life within the district.
Event highlights included puppet shows, face painters, bounce houses, arts and craft tables, and trick-or-treat doors. Attendees enjoyed hot dogs and snacks donated by Ralph's, cotton candy, and popcorn donated by Whole Foods. New this year was the addition of stilt-walkers, a hula-hoop performer, and even a fortune teller who was handing out goodies.
