From George Lopez to Wayne Brady to Jamie Kennedy, Doug Stanhope, Luenell, Margret Cho, and other top comedians, Garrett Morris’ Downtown Blues & Comedy Comedy Club has featured a weekly lineup of some of the country’s most talented stand-up performers. Whether young or old, established or up-and-coming, we attract talented comedians and musicians of all types who enjoy spending an evening working alongside Morris, a true entertainment legend.
Every night at Garrett Morris’ Downtown Blues & Comedy Club is a unique experience. On some nights the club presents a non-stop line-up of some of the funniest and most outrageous stand-up comedians you’ll ever hear. On other nights we will borrow from Morris’ New Orleans roots and mix the comedy with some of the most stirring and soulful blues melodies this side of Memphis, providing an eclectic mix of hilarious comedy and impassioned harmonies that merge to form an unrivaled entertainment experience.

LA Dance Project

L.A Dance Project is a program of events founded by renowned choreographer and dancer Benjamin Millepied. Millepied founded L.A Dance Project as an art collective together with composer Nico Muhly, art consultant Matthieu Humery, producer Charles Fabius and film producer Dimitri Chamblas.
L.A Dance Project's goal is to create new work and to revive seminal collaborations from the past. Programs will include full-length evenings in traditional theater venues as well as various modular performances in non-traditional environments.

LALA Gallery

LALA Gallery is a space where the artists integral to this pivotal project as well as other public art projects can exhibit their studio work and connect with admirers of the street murals. LALA is tucked into a spacious corner of an old meat packing facility built in 1949, kitty corner to downtown local hangout bar Villains, and boasts high ceilings and a raw space that is a natural fit for street artists to bring their work inside. The gallery is meant as a space not only to show work, but for artists to use as a creative laboratory in which to experiment and interact with the community.
