Summer Japanese Beer Garden
CHAYA DOWNTOWN brings back a memorable summer tradition with the return of its weekly outdoor Summer Japanese Beer Garden!
From Tuesday, May 29, 2012 through Friday, August 31, 2012 CHAYA Downtown is celebrating the summer with its Japanese Beer Garden. Offered exclusively on weekday evenings at the downtown L.A. location, diners will be able to enjoy Chef Atsushi Kenjo’s special menu featuring a variety of Yakitori Skewers including Bacon Date, Beef Tongue, Short Rib, Shrimp, or Shiitake, grilled to order on authentic Hibachi grills flown in from Japan. Diners can also feast on a variety of hot and cold Izakaya fare such as Grilled Corn with Feta Cheese; Spicy Tuna Shishito Pepper Tempura, Fried Oyster with Tartare Sauce, Sea Scallop Miso Gratin; and Soy Braised Short Rib, Sukiyaki Style.
Chaya Downtown will also offer an array of specialty Japanese beers,sake flights, award-winning premium Japanese whiskeys, and sake-infused cocktails, all to be enjoyed on the festively decorated outdoor patio.
