Brokechella 2012
BROKECHELLA: a concert in the spirit of the festival none of us could afford. Music, food, art and drinks minus the sweltering sun and prohibitive price tag.
Last year Brokechella drew 400 people and was so much fun that certain city officials almost wouldn’t allow it to happen. We’re doubling our capacity by moving the festival to the amazing Studio Six01, a 7,000 square foot warehouse and home to some of LA’s most exciting events and artists creating in residence.
This year’s party promises to be bigger and better, and we want you to be a part of it. Brokechella will offer festival goers the very best in underground music, with an epic night featuring drinks, art, swag, a photo booth, face painting by the Illyrian Players, LA street food by Mucho Perro, Starry Kitchen, Mango Tango and more

cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA
As you might have noticed, we do a lot of stuff. A lot. We bring locals together through boundary-pushing arts events and highly collaborative, ensemble-driven productions. We fill our audiences and our casts with people who are not interested solely in performing or solely in watching, but rather in sharing the experience of art with one another. We look to empower both long time and beginner artists by providing inspiring opportunities to create and perform, diverse and affordable workshops, and dynamic venues to meet and engage with like-minded visionaries. We believe that a community alive with art will thrive with conversation and understanding, and progress. Art conversing with people conversing with people conversing with art.
