Green Umbrella: Dudamel conducts Berio
Dudamel leads the season's final Green Umbrella program, focusing on drums and song. Scottish percussionist Colin Currie makes his Walt Disney Concert Hall debut in a new concerto by LA Phil timpanist Joseph Pereira. In Berio’s theatrical Recital, the protagonist plays a singer who cannot find her accompanist, sings fragments from over 40 songs, and descends into madness.
