Moshé Elimelech, Arrangements
Opening Reception: Sunday, February 5th, 3-5pm
Artist Moshé Elimelech introduces his modular Arrangements at LA ArtCore in Little Tokyo for an exhibition which runs from February 1-February 29, 2012. Join the artist on Sunday, February 5th from 3-5pm for a live demonstration and opening reception.
Elimelech is something of “an avant-garde traditionalist, adept at employing classic modes of abstraction in upbeat, contemporary, and slightly magical art work.” Writes art critic Shana Nys Dambrot.
Each piece is composed of a grid of hand-painted cube sculptures, each of which can be perpetually altered at whim. The works are clever, revolutionary and provocative, appealing to art, design and architecture aficionados.
