Staged Reading of "Los Embrujados (The Haunted Ones)"
Working Artists Lab is excited to present a reading of this wonderful play by Labyrinth Theater Company Member, Mel Nieves.
This one act, play chronicles the story of two, immigrant brothers (Arturo and Miguel), who discuss their lives and dreams as they prepare for the morning shift at the Windows of The World Restaurant, located in the North Tower of the World Trade Center, on September 11, 2001.
"Los Embrujados", along with its accompanying play- "Midnight Mass"- was produced by The Apple Core Theater Company in New York City, last year, as a collection titled "By The Dawn's Early Light".
Working Artists Lab is planning to give both one acts their West Coast Premiere, later this year.
There will be a wine and beverage reception, following the performance. Seating is limited. Please RSVP
