LAconic Fest
From Our Perspective and Stellar Projects is proud to bring the inaugural LAconic Film Festival to the Downtown Independent movie theatre on February 17, 2012.
The festival will feature the premier of three independent local films: “Altair”, “Gabriel’s Kiss”, and “Time Becomes You”, along with a number of other acclaimed independent short films. Many of the filmmakers and actors will be in attendance.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. There will be a small arrangement of hors d’oeuvres for guests preceding the screening. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. The show begins promptly at 8:00 pm. A brief Question & Answer period will follow directly after the screening of the last film in the festival.
The location of an “After Party” will be announced at the end of the festival.
The LAconic Film Festival has been created to give film lovers the chance to experience first hand the brilliant and thriving underground film arts culture in Los Angeles. The festival also provides a forum for the exceptional talents of underground and independent filmmakers working in the Los Angeles area.
Art begets art. Receive inspiration and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and visions of beauty from all the artistic creators involved in the first annual LAconic Film Festival.
